Habitat For Humanity Benefits From Home Runs- Sep2015

The 2015 Second Annual Builder Baseball charity softball tournament was a tremendous success, raising $39,000 for Habitat for Humanity GTA.

A total of 350 players on 24 teams took to the diamonds at Richmond Green in Richmond Hill for the second annual event, followed by dinner, networking and a cheque presentation to Habitat For Humanity.

The competition was fierce, but Innocon prevailed and took home the championship trophy after beating the HOMES Publishing Group/Metro Media/Star team in the final showdown, 9-0. The two semi-finalists were Monarch and Altus.

The event was organized in partnership with the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) and HOMES Publishing Group. Special kudos to organizing committee members Michael Rosset, Cindy Lloyd, Josh Rosset and Frances Mangos of HOMES Publishing Group, Michelle Vestergaard of Enbridge Gas, Tiffany Kohl of BILD and Angela Solomos of Habitat for Humanity GTA for putting together the tournament. Their hard work paid off in a big way, with the real winners being BILD’s 2015 Habitat partner family.

Thank you to our sponsors and our HOMES Publishing Group Commissioners: Leanne Speers, VP, marketing, and Frances Mangos, chief coordinator for the event.
